The site is located close to the Limfjord, in Aggersund South. With its location, Aggersund is the entrance to, and exit of, Vesthimmerland Municipality.

It is also here that you will find Northern Europe's largest Viking castle, namely Aggersborg. Aggersund has a beautiful nature along the Limfjord with fantastic sun ups and downs. Aggersund has its own small marina, which is filled with boats.

The area also offers good fishing opportunities, including herring and garfish.
