Along the Hærvejens hiking trail, just outside Øster Hornum in North Jutland, you will find a rural property surrounded by lush fields. In the property's fruit orchard, close to a small stream, lies a shelter available for free use by anyone in need of shelter on their journey. The shelter accommodates 4-6 people and can be closed with sliding doors if the wind is a bit too wild around your ears.

As an overnight guest, you have access to water and the opportunity to use the property's toilet if the residents are home. Additionally, you are welcome to greet the farm's dairy cows and visit an old-fashioned farm with a stable and wheelbarrow. Only your own Trangia stove set can be used for cooking.
