The Reunification Stone in Dover stands with a view of the river Kongeå - at a rest area between Foldingbro and Dover on the road to Rødding.

Dover is just south of the river Kongeå and therefore part of the Empire of Prussia until 1920. In 1930, residents on both sides of the river Kongeå erect a memorial stone to commemorate the Reunification in 1920. The stone was unveiled on Valdemar's Day, 15 June 1930, after a celebratory service in the nearby Folding Church. The 6-tonne stone comes from a field at Tirslund (on the road to Holsted just north of Foldingbro) and was moved to its place by the local population.

Tour suggestions:
Not far from the rest area you will find the "Cannon Position at Dover" which is from the 2nd World War. World war. Today, just like when the Germans built the fortifications, there is a good view of the landscape with the Kongeå valley, and this place is also on the list of 18 natural gems in Vejen Municipality.

There are tables and bench sets.
