Margrethekirken is one of Aalborg's many churches. The church’s decorations are made by Berit Hjelholt, a weaver, and Bent Exner, a silver and gold smith. The church hosts several different activities.

In the Margrethe Hall you can find the painting series "Fællesskab og glæde" (Community and delight) created by Grethe Elisabeth Nordsagen. Margretekirken is also home to a number of child-friendly activities.

In the back garden of the church you can find rock engravings from the late bronze age.
