  2. Koutrup Skov Shelter 2

Koutrup Skov Shelter 2

Shelter site with 2 shelters, located 200 m south of Naturcenter Koutrupgård up by Koutrup Forest. The site is furnished with a fire pit and barbecue for each shelter. Access to tap. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring your own, but otherwise you are allowed to gather wood from the forest floor for use on the fire pit.

There is access to public toilets at Koutrupgård (entrance on the east side). Furthermore, there is room for setting up a small horse paddock.

Shelter 2 can be booked directly via the "Book here" button or via the Danish Nature Management Agency's booking system. Please note that your booking will be cancelled if you have not arrived at the site by 20:00.

If no one has booked the place, it is available for anyone who wants to settle down for a shorter or longer period of time - perhaps just for a short break around the fire pit or for an overnight stay.

The shelter site is located 200 m from the Ancient Road, 1 km from the springs of the Gudenå and Skjernåen rivers and 2 km from Rørbæk Lake and Tinnet Krat.
