From the picnic house there is access to a compost toilet.
Neckelmann Plantation is 79 hectares, and there is twice as much needle as foliage.
The forest was very badly affected by the storm in 1981, and the entire northern part of the plantation was replanted with coniferous trees. The southern part of the forest is more varied, and here the terrain is characterized by the distinctive "Nordmannsdal", which runs through the area.
